Each kit gets 7 Pounds of our pre-cut and dyed
Jute thread, a 5'x9' nylon net with 1"x1" squares, and color
directions on how to assemble an exact replica of our full Ghillie Poncho.
But best of all, you decide on the colors! Choose from
any of our 8 different colors, up to 7 pounds. We also offer these kits
in 4 of the most popular color combinations just like our pre-made suits.
Kits take about 7 hours to complete.

Firstly; WOW! I received my ghillie suit today, unfortunately after a long mailing process as i live in the U.K. (But this was not www.theghilliesuits.com fault.)As im typing im waiting for my wife to sew the net onto my BDU's before i begin work attaching the jute. The materials are plentiful, in fact, there is enough netting to make two ghillie suits, and the colors are all correct and look great! Thank you for fantastic service and outstanding product, shame about the mailing. P.S. If you choose the olive green coulour, please note it is one shade closer to brown than green, but it is only a very slight variation from the lighter color on the picture, i thought i should tell you this as other military snipers may purchase ghillies from this site. (also, i recommend all snipers consult their sniper employment officer before purchasing a suit, they usually very helpful chaps.) Yours sincerely, Sgt. I bought a kit a few years ago and didn't really get into making it until recently. My son wanted to make one, so I ordered another kit, with fewer colors--I suggest no more than 3. I ordered 6 colors and that is simply too many. The new kit had a much thinner netting than the first one that I ordered. Honestly, I am very pleased with both kits.
The only complaint I have, is that the new kit smelled very mildewy and musty. It actually felt a little damp when I got it. I guess my wife is more unhappy with the smell than I am since I am building it in my living room while we watch TV. Great colors, and I love how it looks so far - (almost done). I am making the stalker suit which takes much more time to tie to my BDU's and glue it down. The shoe-goo is really hard to work with. But's the time is worth it to have the stalker suit.
