Everything looks great, is well made and is going together great so far. Fingers are sore from tying, but will be worth it to get exactly the color i want.

Disappointed that product is made in China. Synthetic jute is shiny, but I’m only using white, grey, and black for a winter ghillie. It should do alright, but haven’t tested for UV brighteners. I’ll treat the fabric with UV-Killer which will dull the sheen slightly.

The ultralight material may be a little brighter but after you “veg-in” (as military snipers call it) the suit it functions as well as the traditional jute version while giving you all the benefits of the ultralight material. You can add local vegetation or just drag it along the ground to pick up leaves and other material.

This is my fault for not researching the synthetic jute. It is very shiny. Like get you killed shiny. If you are making a Ghillie for combat operations be warned, also the Tan is almost white. This is to no fault of Miles Tactical and they have always been spot on. I usually get the burlap jute and its great stuff. I’m going to go ahead and make a suit and then break it in and see what it looks like and will do a follow up. Some mud may help.

This product was great! It came the next day I ordered it. So theirs really no need to pay that expensive shipping… All of the colors look exactly how they look in the pic and their is plenty of supplies…although It is very time consuming so if you don’t like to sit for a while and take your time I suggest to go and buy an already made one for almost the same price at an army navy store it’s only about $15 more their where Iive…but it doesn’t beat getting to make and customize it to how you want it to look and pick your own colors… Also if you get this kit ake sure you have some cloths to sow the netting on… It’s very lightweight and looks great… Although you might want to muddy it up a little so it looks more natural
