The stalker Poncho covers everything except the front from the waist down. The front of the waist and legs is left bare which makes it easier to crawl around. The Stalker is built the same as the Ghillie Poncho, with netting as a backing to keep you cool.
We hand tie Jute thread directly to the Nylon Netting. The Netting has 1″x1″ squares and a tensile strength of 500 lbs. The Jute thread has 10-12 Lbs of tensile strength per strand, and 4-5 strands of Jute thread are attached to every knot. It has sleeves for your arms and an attached hood. You can easily attach this to a pair of BDU’s or other Uniform to make a Sniper suit.
This Jute version comes pre-treated with Class “A” fire-retardant. We apply a coating of fire retardant to all our ghillie suits made with Jute. The actual weight for the Jute Tracker Poncho is 6 lbs.
Poncho is just right for what i intend to use it for!
As all of these type of covers be prepared to air it out if scent will work against you.
Would have been nice to have gotten some jute ties with it at this price point.
