We have been experts in ghillie suits for close to 2 decades. Of course the most common use for a ghillie suit is for camouflage while hunting or in scenario gaming. A sniper suit is one of our most demanded products by not only the military but by anyone wanting to excel in paintball or airsoft.
Over the many years we have had many customers that used our products for different, creative applications. We want to start sharing these productions with you on our blog. The first one that come to mind was using our ghillie blankets to simulate woolly mammoth hair at an interactive theme park in the Czech Republic.
The Dolni Morava Woolly Mammoth
This theme park is dedicated in creating interactive attractions where children can have fun and learn at the same time. One of their creations is a giant 42 foot tall interactive attraction for children in the form of a woolly mammoth. This is a creative and unique landmark in the Lower Moravia and at the same time it takes the record of being the largest model of a mammoth in the world!
2 Floors of Interactive Entertainment

The Woolly Mammoth of Moravia has 2 floors filled with activities for children. The aim is to entertain and to educate children at the same time. On the first floor there are bits of knowledge about the woolly mammoth that they likely did not know before. In the front legs is a spiral staircase that will take you to the second floor. There is another more adventerous route to the second floor in one of the rear legs.
On the second floor lets children play in a simulated “jungle” with logs, rope vines and even a cave where you can hear the roar of a woolly mammoth as it may have sounded so long ago!
- The Mammoth is over 42″ tall
- With the trunk it is over 103 feet long
Great Escape Water Slide
The grand finale of this mammoth sized adventure is the exit. There is an almost 80′ long slide that will thrill children over and over again. This experience is meant to be repeated with all the legs of the mammoth as each has a different path to the end. One leg has a spiral staircase, the other leg has some obstacles to the top and the final 2 legs feature a rope ladder and a climbing tunnel. You can expect your children to be thrilled over and over again at this attraction in Lower Moravia!
Creative Use Of Ghille Material
The creators of this attraction found the ghillie material to work very well to simulate the long scraggy hair that the mammoth was covered with. Our Ghillie cover products have been used in many productions around the world. This is one of the more interesting ones
